As a relatively small secondary school, we have the opportunity to know each of our students as individuals. At Sanders Draper, your child will not get lost in the crowd, will be valued and will definitely thrive on the relationships built with our dedicated staff and with each other; this allows us to make success a reality for all of our students. Staff have high expectations of pupils’ work and conduct in all that they do.

Family and friendship is at the heart of what we do and we understand children learn best when they are happy, safe and secure and we make it our job to ensure that we know every child.

All staff work tirelessly to ensure all pupils are happy and safe and it is clear that our pupils appreciated and benefit for being part of a school rooted in local history. 

I am immensely proud of our school and all that we do for our pupils. We are most certainly a school in high demand.

We enjoyed welcoming visitors to 'Sanders Draper' in September 2025 for our Open Evening.
