School visits & further Information
Welcome to Sanders Draper
We have put together a virtual representation of our school which will help you to understand what it would be like for your child to attend Sanders Draper.
As a relatively small secondary school, we have the opportunity to know each of our students as individuals. At Sanders Draper, your child will not get lost in the crowd, will be valued and will definitely thrive on the relationships built with our dedicated staff and with each other; this allows us to make success a reality for all of our students.
Family and friendship is at the heart of what we do and we understand children learn best when they are happy, safe and secure and we make it our job to ensure that we know every child.
We are a local school for local people. Who are proud of our past. Determined in our present, preparing for future success. Our key values of Teamwork, Hard work and Transparency guide us. Our students look 'To be the best we can be, by being true to our values'
Feel free to browse through the aspects below, peruse through the information on our Faculties and curriculum, arrange a school tour and please do contact us with any questions that you may have.
We look forward to welcoming your child to 'Sanders Draper' in September 2022.
Mr S Brooks, Headteacher
Decision taken to not hold Open Evening
The Success for All Educational Trust schools (Sanders Draper School, The Royal Liberty School and Redden Court School) have, after careful consideration by our Headteachers and Trust Board, taken the decision to move to virtual Open Evenings supplemented with small group tours of our schools. We will increase the numbers of already planned tours within and after the school day and these will be offered over a longer period than was first envisaged, ensuring that parents/carers and potential students can still experience our schools.
Our current focus is on ensuring our students and staff have a safe return to school and that we have a school year with minimal disruption and ultimately a return to normality for our students and staff. It is our view that a virtual evening with a series of controlled and mitigated tours will help us achieve this and keep our school and local community safe.
