Wider Curricular

At Sanders Draper we believe strongly in developing the whole student and offering life changing experiences and opportunities. We run an exciting wider curriculum which includes a wealth of extra-curricular clubs, trips out, in-school events take place throughout the school year, to support your child’s learning and help develop their skills and character.

There is an extensive offer of P.E. clubs (football, basketball, rugby, fitness, trampolining and netball). A Performing Arts club working towards showcasing 'The Good Intent'. The English, Science, French, Humanities and Maths departments also run extra-curricular clubs. If your child would like to explore their creative side we have a range of music, dance and art clubs taking place as well as New and Views journalist club. There will most certainly be something for your child to take part in, develop their skills further and improve their teamwork, communication and confidence. Clubs run before school, at lunch and after school. Throughout this academic year we will also be offering a careers drop in service during Wednesday break where students will have the opportunity to speak to a trained careers advisor for specific guidance on their intended career and further education destinations.

We look to develop an understanding in careers with our students from year 7 and utilise a platform called Unifrog.
