We know that effective communication with parents is critical to your child being successful at Sanders. We are committed to making sure that parents are fully informed about life at school and use a range of strategies to ensure that this happens.
Before pupils officially join the school our transition events ensure parents and pupils understand the systems and structures in the school and are able to ask a range of questions. it also allows teachers to gather information about the new pupils interests and strengths.
We have a series of workshops that introduced parents to all aspects of the child is learning and set them up to be able to support them. Some of these are for parents and others are by invitation where we think that people‘s needs mean they would benefit from additional support at home.
We also have other events, including parenting workshops and talks from a range of staff at the school.
The Parent Forum was established in the summer 2018 by Mrs Shread and they look to meet every half term.
